An immortal by the name of Modo has been sentenced to a mortal lifetime on Earth as punishment for his crimes in the Absolute, the realm of the afterlife. In his anger at this humiliation he becomes determined not only to reclaim his previous power, but to destroy the Earth once and for all, so that he may never be punished in such a base manner again. As the hero of the story, it is up to you to either foil Modo's heinous plans and ultimately destroy him, or else to aid Modo in his quest.

A refreshingly new magic system allows players to combine spells and their effects. All of these spells, the descriptions of their effects and the game's extensive subtitles were translated into the German language with great attention to continuity and the fantastic/archaic atmosphere of the scenario.

Besides translating the texts for the German game, Effective Media also took on the editing of the English version, as well as coordinating the translation into three more languages.
