Behind every little fish is a great white lie.

Oscar is unquestionably the coolest fish in Reef City - in his own opinion. But though he dreams daily of fame and riches, he still remains nothing more than a small, yellow, heavily mortgaged employee of the Whalewash, who regularly turns up late for work and can't pay his rent. All that changes after a chance meeting and an (un)lucky accident involving a couple of sharks earns him the nickname "Sharkslayer". Soon after, a wild underwater adventure begins and Oscar must show what he's capable of: dancing, racing, acting the hero...

For this colourful adventure in the world of the barracudas and screeching sea urchins, many well-known German voice-over actors stepped up to the microphone, from Jan Odle (Will Smith) as the crazy Oscar and Joachim Kerzel (Jack Nicholson) as mafia shark Don Lino to Ranja Bonalana (Renée Zellweger) as Oscar's friend Angie, and many more...
