A priest plans to use an ancient ritual to bring about the uprising of his demonic mistress - a dark magician known as Madame Paveau. He has already trapped her soul in a consecrated vessel. Now all he needs are two things: a suitable body and a magic sword. These he will combine with a series of sinister objects to make the soul take possession of its new form. Lara Croft becomes involuntarily involved when she visits the museum, for the sword the priest requires is the very one on display in the museum. As he steals it from right under her nose, Lara cuts herself on the blade and thus becomes his target herself. Help Lara to stop the priest ... and save her soul!
