The Giants are back. Thousands of years ago, they fought in epic battles before being banished to Earth. But now, KAOS has returned and it is high time to bring back the Giants, because only with their help can the Skylanders hope to defeat KAOS once more.

Following Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, Effective Media also localised the sequel, in which the Skylanders encounter old friends such as Flynn and Cali, adversaries like pirate captain Dreadbeard, but also new faces. Once again, players use the Portal of Power and the powers of their action figures to save the Skylands from Evil.
