It all began with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure: For the first time, toys came to life in a video game. Skylanders Giants added super-sized Skylanders called Giants. Skylanders SWAP Force introduced Skylanders capable of swapping tops and bottoms in order to represent two elements at once. How can you possibly top that? With the brand new Skylanders Trap Team: This time, not only can you send toys from the real world into the virtual one, you can also capture villains in the game and store them in real-life traps, then send them back to the Skylands to fight for you. And that's not all that's new: As of right now, the Skylanders not only fight at home or at your friends' houses, but wherever you are. Skylanders Trap Team is the first title in the series to be released for tablets!

Effective Media also localised the fourth instalment of the Skylanders series, which is once again full to the brim with puns and unique, quirky characters. As well as new heroes and villains, get ready to catch up with many old acquaintances from the previous editions, including the Skylands' ”most modest” pilot and the infamous supreme villain Kaos.
