Longing for the good old days when he still felt like a "real ogre", Shrek allows hypocritical wheeler-dealer Rumpelstiltskin to talk him into a deal. Suddenly, Shrek finds himself in an alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king, and Shrek and Fiona have never even met. Now it's up to Shrek to get together with Fiona, Donkey and Puss in Boots in order to make up for his mistake, save his friends, put the world back the way it was and find his true love once more.
