50 years after, on orders from Earth, the Earth Defense Force (EDF) has made Mars a colony for mining raw materials, violent clashes between local authorities and Mars colonists are on the rise. A guerrilla movement tries to prevent the suppression of settlers by the EDF, and to bring new hope to the population of Mars. This is where the player comes in. Without guerrilla tactics, it would be impossible to defeat the powerful EDF. Therefore, the player must face the challenge of deciding how to use a vast array of weapons and vehicles in order to cause maximum damage to the EDF. Thanks to the brand-new Geo Mod 2.0 engine, it is possible to reshape the environment physically correct on the open surface of Mars. However, this destruction is not limited to the single-player campaign where the player joins the revolution. Various thrilling new multiplayer modes, as well as Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and King of the Hill, also allow you to turn up the heat on your opponents!
