Once upon a time there was a cuddly little family of animals who lived in a big, green forest. Every year, they curled up together in a large log and slept through the winter. But one year, when they woke up, they realised that not everything was as it had been. During the winter, the humans had cut down a large part of the forest and erected something huge, something the forest dwellers had never seen before: the hedge.

This is how the story of the hibernators from the forest and RJ the raccoon begins. Together, they must explore the suburbs to find food and a lot of other interesting things.

The anxious turtle Verne, the crafty raccoon RJ, the hyperactive squirrel Hammy and their friends find their way in the world of the humans with plenty of humour suitable for all ages and a lot of amusing adventures. And they discover not only more than enough to eat, but also what’s really important: friendship.
