Lieutenant John Cooke is a simple pilot under the command of Yelena Shabayev. In his shoes, it is your duty to obey her crisp orders and let her praise and encourage you - or to botch it up and let her give you a good talking-to, for patience is not one of Shabayev's virtues! You can work your way up through various campaigns and ranks of the ISDF - or change sides.

You will hear intercepted enemy transmissions or characteristic personal messages from your superiors. Finally, you may someday be a commander yourself, and then it will be your turn to establish a base, arm it to the teeth, and give 'em hell! To do this, you must select units and choose an order from the extensive interface. In any case, however, there is one thing that you must always remember to do: Listen carefully to what your superiors have to say.

Oh - and try not to get shot!
