Release Date:
January 2001

Genre:
Action

Localisation:
complete

- Was the training of the beautiful (and very erotic) Delphi with master Samurai Smartie Yan hard enough for the final battle?

- Can the Smartie boy Timmy be rescued from assassination by the horrible monster Kabuto?

- And will the Meccs Baz, Tel, and Reg finally manage to go on their well-deserved party holiday?

Giants is a wild techno fairy tale, which is indeed so fantastic that its localisation was pure pleasure. Lunatic characters, absurd humour, and a mad story are woven into a game full of action in which combining strategy with a true fighting spirit and a place in your heart for beer drinking aliens is most important ...

The adequate linguistic transference of screen texts and dialogues was a real challenge, since we were determined not only to conserve the brilliant individual speech styles of the characters but also the magic of the ferocious and fantastic world of Giants for German-speaking players.

Play and see for yourself how well we managed to do so ... Be infected by our enthusiasm!

Press Notes about
Giants: Citizen Kabuto
January 2001
Gamestar
"The game was translated in its entirety, the voice output is a success with regard to both the voices and the level of language."
Deccember 2000
Games Zone
"The voice output is faultless: Not only have players of the German version been supplied with a complete set of English dialogues ... what is far more important is that the German cast are by no means inferior to their English counterparts. The wit and standard of speech are equally great, the sound accompanyment is perfectly suited to the occasion."
Deccember 2000
Powerplay.de
"The presentation is refined through a number of wonderfully comical video sequences, which are likely to be more sidesplitting than many a Hollywood comedy. Anyone who wants a good laugh is bound to find all he requires in Giants: Citizen Kabuto."
