Set against the background of the DreamWorks film of the same name, Madagascar whisks gamers away into the world of four amiable inhabitants of the Central Park Zoo:

Alex, the lion with airs and graces, Marty the zebra, plagued by an identity crisis and up to his stripes in mischief, the hypochondriac giraffe Melman and the cool hippo-lady Gloria. As a group of devious penguins plans a daring escape from the zoo, the four of them swap their comfortable cages for a life of adventure and are shipwrecked on the beach of Madagascar.

Gamers must make use of the zoosters' innate skills to survive in the urban jungle of New York and the real jungle in far away Madagascar. The comical dialogues of the many animal characters make Madagascar a treat for the whole family!

Effective Media was able to win the film's director, Dr. Michael Nowka, for the language recordings. Also, the German dubbing voices of Ben Stiller and Jada Pinkett-Smith could be hired for the computer game.
