Release Date:
August 2000

Genre:
First-person shooter

Localisation:
complete

Even before publication, the trade press voted it best game of the year:

The first person shooter Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force

It would go far beyond the scope of this site to list all the features responsible for this unanimous vote - as far as the events on the screen will exceed your imagination and transport you to distant galaxies with undreamt-of events and incredible phenomena ...

Resistance really is futile:

You will not only be a witness of scripted events but you will be able to interact with more than 50 characters on 40 single player levels.

The well-known characters from the original Star Trek: Voyager TV show will accompany you on your missions with the elite force: you will be trained by Tuvok, fight side by side with Seven of Nine, and perhaps you will have to be treated by the Doctor ...

The new AI system, fantastic artwork and ingenious sound effects make the game realistic in a way that has never been known before: virtual becomes real.

Press Notes about
Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force
August 2001
Gamespot.de
"Of course, some of the characters still appear slightly wooden in their movements, but the German synchronisation makes up for this with the original voices from the series (...) The technical talk that the series is so well known for is combined with the Voyager crew's typical characteristics: Tuvok comes across as a typical cool Vulcan, while Paris is effusively amusing. The game lacks neither allusions to Neelix's cooking nor the typical conversions in the ship's corridors."
