The German-speaking world has been spoilt by an extremely high standard of dubbing quality in the TV and film industry. No other country invests as much into the dubbing of films. Therefore, your customers expect little less from computer games and software in general.

Unfortunately, that high standard is often not achieved: Too often, a good computer game is devaluated by unsatisfactory localisation and unprofessional voice recordings. In order to avoid this, it is vital to remember that the prevalent standards cannot be met by simple means such as plugging a microphone into a computer.

Furthermore, many games require recordings to be time-restricted, or the voice-overs for FMV sequences to be matched to images or lip movements. For many years, we have been working with professional recording studios which, besides recording voice-overs for software, have also worked on film projects, providing an ideal basis for fulfilling this demanding task.

Over the years, recording scripts have grown larger as well, and it is not unusual these days to have a cast of 100 or more characters, necessitating a large pool of actors. Again, this is no problem for the studios we work with.

Our actor pool comprises experienced dubbing actors and radio presenters, as well as actors with stage, film and TV experience, providing us with a wide range from which to choose when casting for any project. We consider it most important that a voice should suit the character perfectly, as well as being in keeping with the overall context of the program. Moreover, our directors are always diligent in ensuring that the text is spoken with the proper atmosphere and emphasis.

If you would like to be involved in the choice of actors, we are happy to send you samples from a database or hold a live casting for you.

Following the production, the recordings are processed by us and delivered to you in the format you require. You can choose whether you prefer to receive single files in your chosen format, or a completely edited video file. We will gladly comply with your wishes and compose a perfect German version for you.
